"In doing this series on aging, I had to confront my own aging. This is a group portrait of me at ages 20, 35, 50, 65, and 80. To get an idea of how I might age, I looked at how my father and his father did. The physical aspect turned out to be the least important. Both of them had rich, rewarding lives. I think I will, too."
